About Nancy Toffolo
Nancy Toffolo is the Director of the Forensic Science Online Graduate Program and an Instructional Associate Professor. She earned her M.S. in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Florida in 2005 and her B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida in 1996. She is completing her Ed.D. in Educational Technology from the UF College of Education; her research focuses on the implementation of virtual laboratories in online graduate programs.
Her professional experience includes work at the University of Florida Racing Laboratory as a Senior Chemist and Scientific Research Manager, as well as research roles supporting a life‑sciences mission for NASA and a private genomics company. Director Toffolo also served as a teaching assistant for the Forensic Science Program before becoming a Lecturer in 2009 and being promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2016.
