Non-Degree

Why enroll as a non-degree seeking student?

If you are interested in learning more about a particular subject or want to explore online learning with UF before committing to a graduate program, enrolling as a non-degree seeking student will allow you to experience our online platform and gain valuable knowledge.

How many credits are available?

You may take up to 6 credits as a non-degree seeking student prior to being admitted to either the graduate certificate or master’s degree program. A new non-degree application is required for each new term, but there is no application fee for non-degree seeking students.

To transfer up to 6 credits to the master’s degree or graduate certificate in forensic science, you must be admitted into either graduate program and earn a grade of “B” or higher in the course(s). Being a non-degree seeking student does not guarantee acceptance into the master’s degree or graduate certificate programs.
